All services are customized to needs. There is time spent understanding the issue before designing any type of service to be provided. With 30 years of experience, I try to listen carefully before suggesting ideas that have worked in educational settings similar to those with whom I am currently working, and to provide evidence-based solutions.

How will we evaluate our services and support to schools and districts and its effectiveness in school/ district/ student achievement?

Services are evaluated through exit interviews and by tracking what has been implemented and its relationship to outcomes, including school achievement.

Sample of services offered for a school or district:

Under 500 Students:

Helped to develop approaches to teaching English language learners when there was a small percentage of ELL students in the school/district; evaluated 21st Century approaches; facilitated data driven decision making using local data; identified measures for gap-closure between socioeconomic groups; facilitated development of UIP; conducted diagnostic reviews.

500-1000 Students:

Conducted diagnostic reviews; facilitated the design and implementation of MTSS; facilitated workshops on data-based decision making, development and implementation of social-emotional learning approaches; service-learning; and leadership pipeline; facilitated development of UIP; evaluated ELL, Special Education, and other programs.

1000+ Students:

Facilitated strategic planning, middle school redesign, assessment redesign, and many workshops including data-based decision making and developing classroom assessments. Conducted diagnostic reviews, evaluated many programs including 21st Century, restorative practices, dropout prevention, assessment. Facilitated adoption of data systems. Developed guides on literacy and mathematics instruction, and MTSS. Provided summary of evidence base for 20 different areas related to education. Identified best practice sites across the US for different instructional and leadership approaches.
