Cost:

A full day of professional development costs $900-$1250. per day. Services range from full staff training and coaching to team support and/or individual support.

As an experienced teacher in both special and general ed classrooms, an sdministrator, assessment specialist and instructional coach, I am well versed in supporting the various roles in school improvement efforts. This is the hallmark of my professional development - "side by side" training, coaching, and support acroos the organization, tailored to your unique school culture.

How will we evaluate our services and support to schools and districts and its effectiveness in school/ district/ student achievement?

I evaluate through teacher survey, observable change in practice, conferencing with leadership, and student gains in both achievement and growth.

Sample of services offered for a school or district:

Under 500 Students:

I support K-12 teachers in the continuous improvement of instructional delivery in all content areas. Using standards-based practices, I model lessons, conference with teachers and subsequently coach on their implementation of instructional methods that are assessment-driven. I am able to develop relationships with individual teachers that facilitate open communication in a teaching/learning cycle.

500-1000 Students:

I have provided schoolwide professional development for all staff on a three tier model of quality instruction for ALL students. This laid a foundation for strong data-driven improvement efforts across the system. I have also provided literacy training for all members of this middle school staff, with a focus on vocabulary and comrehension. I provide direct coaching support for the language arts teachers on a monthly basis. This includes a reading intervention class.

1000+ Students:

I have assisted a district with the implementation of a Professional Learning Commmunity model that is data-driven and increases accountability at all levels. There continues to be a district leadership team across all three levels that strategizes and evaluates the PLC structures based on results.
