Accountability & Improvement

Unified Improvement Planning Templates for AECs Now Posted

The 2012-13 school UIP template for Alternative Education Campuses (AECs) has been finalized and approved by EDAC, and is now posted on the “Templates” page of the UIP website. Schools to be approved as AECs by the State Board of Education in August should use the AEC UIP template rather than the traditional UIP template. There are minimal changes to the templates based upon feedback from the field, the ESEA waiver and CDE’s review of improvement plans. Visit the UIP website at: http://www.cde.state.co.us/uip/index.asp. Visit the link below for more information on AECs.
