Learn More About a New Marijuana Youth Education Campaign

Colorado is partnering with the Attorney General’s Office, city of Denver and private partners to launch a marijuana youth education campaign─ “Don’t Be a Lab Rat.” The campaign has been in development since the fall, with staff conducting interviews with experts in the field and dozens of youth focus groups.

The goal of the campaign is to increase the awareness among youth of the risks associated with underage marijuana use. The website (link below) serves as a quick resource providing links to related articles and research and includes easy share functionality to social media pages.

If you get media calls asking about the campaign itself and how the state went about crafting it, please direct those to Andrew Freedman, Director of Marijuana Coordination, Office of the Governor, (303)-866-4969, Andrew.Freedman@state.co.us.
